The AFL’s Match Review has laid one charge from Thursday night’s Geelong v Melbourne match at GMHBA Stadium.

Geelong vice-captain Tom Stewart has been charged with Unreasonable or Unnecessary Contact with an Injured Player in an incident that occurred in the first quarter with Melbourne’s Jack Viney.

Stewart can accept a $1,000 sanction with an early plea.
