There was no greater time for Cameron to stamp his authority, than when he ran out for his third game in the hoops in a Grand Final rematch against Richmond.
The Cats trailed by 19 points early in the second quarter, before Jezza got involved with a pair of goals to trim the margin to nine points at half time.
The spearhead then took over after the main break, booting six goals after halftime as the Cats went on a tear to turn the 19 point deficit into a 63 point win.
Cameron finished with 22 disposals, six goals, 15 score involvements and was ultimately awarded three Brownlow votes in a simply phenomenal performance.

This see-sawing affair at Adelaide Oval looked like it was getting away from the Cats in the last quarter, before Cameron intervened and wrenched the game out of Port Adelaide’s hands.
Cameron booted three goals in the last quarter to finish with five for the match, adding 19 disposals and two goal assists to secure the three Brownlow Votes.
Perhaps the best highlight of the night was when Tom Hawkins landed a hit-out in Cameron’s lap, with the latter curling through a goal in a brilliant set play.

The Cats trailed the Magpies by 37 points late in the third quarter, on the night when Joel Selwood broke the record for the most games as captain in AFL history.
With the game seemingly out of reach, Cameron started to turn the tide with a goal just before three quarter time to give the Cats some momentum heading into the final break.
That goal sparked an avalanche, with Geelong booting the final eight goals of the game to run over the top of Collingwood and pinching a 13 point win.
Jezza booted four goals in that stretch and finished with six for the game, securing another three Brownlow votes to inspire his side to an incredible victory.

Cameron put on a clinic in Hobart when the Cats faced North Melbourne early in 2022, booting seven goals and recording 13 score involvements in another remarkable performance.
The spearhead did as he pleased at Blundstone Arena, breaking the record for most goals in a game at the venue while securing yet another best on ground performance on Brownlow night.

2022 is regarded as one of Cameron’s best seasons and it’s not hard to see why, putting together another best on ground performance to help secure a win against the Bulldogs.
The star forward was involved early, booting three goals (including his 500th career goal) in the first quarter as the Cats raced out to a 40 point lead.
The Bulldogs weren’t finished, slowly pegging back the margin to make it a five point game early in the last quarter.
Cameron did as he has done so many times, booting the final three goals for Geelong, finishing with six for the day to help the Cats hang on for a 13 point victory.

A game that will forever be remembered by Geelong fans, Cameron played a vital role in helping the Cats overcome Collingwood in the 2022 Qualifying final.
Cameron booted three crucial goals including an absolute classic from the boundary line, dished off two goal assists, and got that all important kick inside 50 that led to Max Holmes’ game winner.
Although statistically it did not look like a huge performance, it might just be Jezza’s most influential to help the Cats get into a Preliminary Final, helping to set up what transpired a few weeks later.

Cameron's Stats: 25 disposals, six goals
Cameron put the team on his back early in 2023, collecting 25 disposals and booting six goals to nearly drag the Cats over the line in a tight contest at the MCG.
Jez kicked four goals in the second half, helping to pull a 28 point deficit back to eight points late in the last quarter but the Blues were able to hang on.

The pressure was on the Cats in the Easter Monday clash in 2023, looking for their first win of the season against the arch rivals.
Cameron booted three of Geelong’s four goals in the opening half, but the Cats were trailing by nine points at half time.
Then came one of the most extraordinary second halves in recent history, with Geelong piling on 15 goals to one after the main break to close out an 82 point win.
Cameron was instrumental in the result collecting 22 disposals, booting seven goals and dishing off two goal assists to secure the three Brownlow votes.
The only person capable of stopping Cameron on the day was a boundary umpire.

Another stellar performance from the Cats number five came late in 2023, when he nearly inspired his side to an upset win over Collingwood.
Cameron booted seven goals for the game, amassing 12 score involvements in another dominant game but ultimately it wasn’t quite enough, with the Cats falling eight points short.

The most recent game on this list came against Carlton earlier this year, when Cameron picked apart the Baggers with a five goal haul.
In a tight tussle in front of a huge crowd at the MCG, Jezza kicked two majors in the last quarter, including the game sealing goal to snuff out a Carlton comeback.
Cameron also booted the 600th goal of his career on the day, adding a cherry on top of a brilliant performance from Geelong’s number five.
