Zach Guthrie on reaching 100 AFL games

It has been something that I have really enjoyed, growing alongside Jack.

We were picked up at the same time with a number of other guys who we have had great relationships with.

We have seen a number of guys go in and out, but we have been really lucky to come through with a core group of guys.

We have learned and grown together, we have had some good times and there have been ups and downs along the way.

It is something I am proud of to reach this milestone, 100 AFL games is something that not everyone gets to do.

It is something I am looking forward to, but at the same time we have a job to do. 

Jack Henry on Signing a Contract Extension

It was a very easy decision. I didn't really consider any other options, I was always going to stay at Geelong and I am stoked to have it all done now. 

It probably hasn't necessarily sunk in just yet, the whole idea of being here another five years but it is a really nice thing to have that security. 

I think it is really good that we have got some guys that will be here for a long time.

It is good that you know you will have certain people who are going to be around in the future, hopefully we keep tracking nicely.

It is definitely nice knowing there will be a few guys around that I am familiar playing with. 

Zach Guthrie on the confidence amongst the playing group

I think we have had a number of young guys this year who have come in and played some really good footy, which has been important for us.

We have been able to stay relatively healthy throughout the year, obviously there is a couple of guys out but we have some good continuity amongst the group.

We have played some really good footy in patches throughout the year, every team has had their moments where they haven't been at their best.

It is a tough competition and it is tough to do it every week.

I am always confident that we can be dangerous if we bring our best, but that is the challenge for every team to be able to do it at the right moment. 

Jack Henry on remaining positive through rehab

It was a hard time for sure.

I think you rarely go through a career and not find yourself having a few difficult periods.

The footy club were great in terms of helping me deal with everything. 

Coming off a pretty decent stint in rehab, I was pretty happy to be back playing and I was trying to find good consistency on the footy field to let everything take care off the field.
