After securing a big win over West Coast in the final round of the home and away season, Geelong have locked in their spot in the top four heading into Week One of the Toyota AFL Finals Series.
The Cats did what they needed to at GMHBA Stadium on Saturday afternoon, skipping clear of the Eagles to clinch a 93 point win and a double chance heading into September.
Geelong will now await the results of two other games in the final round, to determine their final position on the ladder and the opponent they will face in a Qualifying Final.

To finish 2nd
With their win over the Eagles on Saturday, Geelong have completed their half of the scenario to potentially secure a home qualifying final in Week One.
The Cats will now need Port Adelaide and GWS to lose their final games of the year to have a chance at jumping into second position. In addition to this, Port Adelaide would need to lose to Fremantle by roughly 25 points for the Cats to pass them on percentage.
