Geelong’s VFL team is in for Saturday's VFL Qualifying Final against Werribee, and Cats fans will have plenty to be excited about!  

The Cats welcome back six AFL-listed players, headlined by Sam De Koning who is set to make his return after overcoming a knee injury he sustained in the Round 21 AFL clash against Adelaide.  

Gary Rohan and Mark O'Connor have both been named, bringing plenty of experience to the Geelong team as they look to secure a home Preliminary Final.  

Mitch Knevitt returns following a stint with the AFL team, while Ted Clohesy has also been selected after missing the final home and away season game with concussion. Oisin Mullin rounds out the inclusions for Saturday's game.  

Jed Bews comes out from the side that faced Sandringham after playing in the AFL team against West Coast in Round 24, while Jack Sarcevic, Ethan Borys, Tanner Lovell, Hamish Lucas and Joe Pike have all been omitted.  

Geelong will take on Werribee at Avalon Airport Oval on Saturday, with the opening bounce at 12.00pm.
