Geelong has named their initial 24 player squad for Sunday’s clash with the Kangaroos at Arden Street Oval.  

Three players have been added to an extended interchange including Abbey McDonald, Brooke Plummer and new Cat Chantal Mason, who was selected by Geelong in last year’s AFLW draft.  

The initial squad includes eight players on the interchange, with the final team to be announced on Friday afternoon at 5pm.  

The Cats will be looking to bounce back from their Week 1 loss to Melbourne, while also searching for their first ever AFLW victory over the Kangaroos.  

Sunday’s game will be broadcast live and free on Channel 7 from 3.00pm, while also being streamed on Kayo.
