GMHBA Health Update - Gary Rohan

Geelong forward Gary Rohan will undergo surgery on Monday after sustaining a fractured skull in Saturday's VFL match at GMHBA Stadium.

Rohan sustained the injury after an errant elbow in the first quarter and missed the remainder of the game. He was sent to hospital for further assessment post-game for a suspected fracture and progressive concussion symptoms.

Assistant General Manager – Football Brett Johnson said:

“Gary will have surgery today and will be unavailable for our AFL Preliminary Final, we will provide the support required to Gary and his family as he recovers."
