Three Cats have received coaches votes for outstanding performances in the Week 2 clash against the Kangaroos. 

Amy McDonald received an equal game-high eight votes for her display on Sunday, adding to the seven votes she received in Week 1 against Melbourne. 

The star on-baller was prolific on Sunday finishing the game with 27 disposals, winning a staggering 13 clearances and four score involvements in a clinical midfield performance. 

McDonald now sits in a tie for sixth position on the overall Champion Player of the Year leaderboard.

Mikayla Bowen received three votes from the coaches, performing strongly on Sunday collecting 18 disposals and kicking a brilliant late goal to level the scores. 

Rounding out the votes for Geelong was Nina Morrison, awarded two votes after collecting 20 disposals and kicking one goal against the Kangaroos. 

The AFL Coaches Association AFLW Champion Player of the Year is an award voted by the AFLW senior coaches on a 5,4,3,2,1 basis after each home and away game, acknowledging outstanding effort to an individual player in a season.
