Rachel Kearns will be a test this week as she continues to recover from a chest knock sustained in Week 1.

The defender was a late withdrawal against North Melbourne Tasmanian Kangaroos on Sunday, with the Club giving her as much time as possible to recover before making a call on her availability.

Rachel is recovering from a chest contusion and didn’t get up for the game on Sunday, but we’ll continue to monitor and assess her this week in terms of her availability to play against Carlton,” Geelong Cats Assistant General Manager of Football Brett Johnson said.

Geelong takes on Carlton this Saturday at Ikon Park, with first bounce at 2.35pm. Get your tickets from Ticketmaster or sign up as a Cats 2024 AFLW Member to be One in Hoops today.
