Parry on her 50th AFLW Game
It feels pretty amazing.
There were moments in the career where I wasn't sure if I would make 50 games, so it is a great opportunity to reflect and reminisce on some of the cool moments.
Things like my debut, the trade down to Geelong and my first game here so it has been a pretty cool week so far.
Lowther on the focuses during the week
We were poor last week in our contest method.
We fumbled, our ball security was really poor, the conditions weren't great but Carlton played really well and they showed what contested ball looks like.
For us we need to get our hand on the footy more, so we can play our system and our style. The focus during the week was getting back to winning possession, so we can move the ball in a more efficient way off the back of contested method.
Whether that is in the air, on the ground we just have to tougher in that space.
Parry on her move down to Geelong
At Melbourne I struggled to find my spot, as a tall forward I was trying to get some game time.
Moving down to Geelong has been really great for my career, I have a great connection with my coach and my teammates.
I have loved every moment down here.
Lowther on the chance to travel this weekend
I think getting away together is something that we crave, so this is a good opportunity to spend some time with the group and have those conversations that maybe you don't get to have day to day.
The sun is out up there which will be a nice change for everyone, it is a nice little circuit breaker that is for sure.
We like to get away, we requested the AFL to try and get these games in the pre season but we missed out this year.
But this is a nice little break for us.
