Georgie Prespakis will be a test for the Week 5 clash against Hawthorn.

After missing the previous two games, midfielder Georgie Prespakis will be a test to play against the Hawks on Thursday night at GMHBA Stadium.

Geelong Cats Assistant General Manager – Football Brett Johnson says the Club is confident that Prespakis will return to face Hawthorn.

"Georgie will participate in full training this evening, and if all goes well, we anticipate that she’ll be ready for our upcoming match against the Hawks,” Johnson said.

After having surgery on her toe, Chloe Scheer is back in at the Club, with a timeline on her return to be confirmed.

“It is great to have Chloe back in at the Club and around the team. As Chloe continues to progress over the next couple of weeks, we’ll have a clearer idea regarding her expected return date.”

The Cats AFLW team returns to Geelong with GMHBA Stadium to host two blockbuster match-ups in the next seven days. Be there as Geelong takes on Hawthorn this Thursday, followed by a Tuesday night showdown with the Dockers!
