Lowther on the Quick Turnaround

We turned our attention really quickly, we referred to it the other day as a bit of a festival of footy.

Off the back of a strong performance, all the girls are motivated to get out and play again. Playing on a quick turnaround is actually good timing for us, the momentum is there and the willingness to play is really high.

Hawthorn have been going really well, so it is another great challenge for us to play against a strong team who are on the rise.

Our result on the weekend has highlighted the fact that we are progressing in the right direction. 

Friswell on Saturday's Important Win

It was really good to play some high quality footy in good conditions, the first three games had been in pretty wet and horrible conditions.

Having some sunny conditions helped our game, but it was good to bond as a team and to get that first win on the board.

We have a quality list, we always knew that we could play some good footy. It was good to get the win and to have that run and bounce on the outside, to use our outside players but also our half backs and to blend as a team. 

Lowther on Darcy Moloney's Development

She has been great, every year she shows signs of adding something different and more attributes to her game.

She has been working really hard on her contested method so that she is stronger around contests, and she showed that on the weekend against a really strong team.

Her ability to get out, win the footy and then use the ball is really efficient.

That is a part too that we are really excited about with her growth going forward, she can be really damaging with the footy. If she can add that contest work, she is going to be a really potent midfielder for us. 

Friswell on Returning to GMHBA Stadium

It should be a really good game, finally being back at home and of course having a few more games here now.

We get a good crowd here, it will be great to see all the fans turn up and hopefully we can get a win for them.
