Prespakis on the Extra Rest this Week

The season has flown by and we are already at Week 8, but it is nice to be out of the condensed period and back to a little bit of normality.

To be able to come in this week and have a couple of training sessions under our belt, then to come up against Brisbane this Sunday who are a quality opposition and going really well is super exciting.

We are feeling good and we are really excited.

Prespakis on the Mentality Heading into Week 8

It is certainly difficult at times, but as a group we still have a lot of belief around what is to come for the rest of the season.

It is great to see how much the competition has evolved this year and every team has gotten better, on the day you have to be able to bring a good four quarter performance to be able to win.

We just haven't been able to get there at the moment, but we have played good passages of footy that we have been happy with. We have still got three big games ahead of us, but right now the focus is Brisbane.

We are feeling really good and we feel like if we can put a few things in place, that there is no reason why we can't play four good quarters of footy and get a win hopefully. 

Prespakis on the Cats Style

For us we are really fortunate that we have a gameplan that sees us play an exciting brand of footy, getting the ball moving and changing the angles to put speed on the game.

That hopefully enables more scoring, but structurally you also want to be able to defend teams scoring too much against you at the same time.

It is a fine line between a little bit of both, but I really like the way we are able to play and I know there has been a few games this year that fans have really loved watching. 

Prespakis on the Brisbane Challenge

We have been pretty lucky, we have had a few close games against them since we starting playing them.

They are a really quality opposition, we know that they like to move the ball fast and get it forward.

Their defence love to switch the ball, they have really good midfielders and some real talent up forward, particularly in Tay Smith who is having a really good season.

We will look to combat that and just see how we go.
