Stifling the Adelaide Tall Forwards
Adelaide's high potent offense primarily moves through Caitlin Gould and Danielle Ponter, with the two forwards doing most of the scoring for the Crows in 2024.
Gould and Ponter have both kicked 14 goals in the 2024 season, sitting tied for third on the AFLW goal kicking leaderboard.
It will set up and enticing battle with Aishling Moloney at the other end, who sits on top of the goal kicking table (21 goals) heading into the final round of the season.
Stopping Ebony Marinoff
Along with their strong forward line, Adelaide also have one of the top midfielders in the competition, Ebony Marinoff who has been in sensational form in 2024.
The Crows star is averaging a league high 31 disposals per game this year, adding nearly 13 tackles and seven clearances per game also.
Marinoff has been dangerous in the forward half too, dishing off 46 score involvements which ranks seventh in the league.
This will be an enticing matchup, with Marinoff and Georgie Prespakis set to go head to head.
Finding ways through the defence
Perhaps the Crows greatest strength is their defence, conceding the second fewest points of any team in the competition this year.
Adelaide concede an average of 25.7 points per game, holding four of their last five opponents to 30 points or less.
Geelong's offense has been rolling the past two weeks, they will need to find ways through the Crows defence on Friday night.
