The Geelong Cats are excited to announce that Jack Martin has joined the Club as a Delisted Free Agent, with the forward to pull on the Hoops for the next two seasons.
The 29-year-old moves to Geelong after 54 games and five seasons with Carlton, having started his career at the Gold Coast Suns, where he spent six seasons and played 97 games prior to joining the Blues.
Martin is the third player to join the Cats this off-season, after Bailey Smith made the move to GMHBA Stadium in Continental Tires Trade Period and Irishman Cillian Burke signed on as a Category B Rookie.
Geelong Cats General Manager – Football Andrew Mackie said:
“We are really excited about the prospect of bringing Jack into our football club, he is an experienced player and a quality person. He has already settled into Geelong with his young family and we look forward to welcoming him into our football program.”
