Holmes on the Gather Round win

It is pretty early in the year, so I would not necessarily say that we can build on it for Finals, but it was an amazing win.

I think it will give us great belief going forward, because we had a couple of iffy moments in there. It was a couple of easy things to fix really, just simple things that were allowing them to break free and kick some easy goals.

It was not panic stations and it was not anything special, just stick to the fundamentals and it worked from there obviously.

It was a really great win, one of my favourite wins I have ever had I reckon.

Holmes on Geelong's record at Adelaide Oval

I do not know what it is, but we go well there.

We have had some really enjoyable wins there, both Adelaide and Port Adelaide have great records over there and their fans are up and about.

They have got a great home advantage there, I don't know what it is about the ground but we will take that in our stride going forward.

We go there pretty soon again, we will keep building on that prior form.

Holmes on returning to the MCG

It is exciting, that is where the biggest games get played at the end of the year.

You want to get as much experience up there as you can, I am really looking forward to it.

We have played some great games at the 'G, we get big crowds there most of the time.

Hopefully we get some electric crowds and some great games there, I can't wait for it.

Holmes on his connection with Bailey Smith

I have really enjoyed having Bailey down here.

We have got along quite well, we get the mickey taken out of us a little bit being two private school boys from Melbourne, carrying on like pork chops.

We have gotten along off the field and it is nice to have some chemistry on the field, so hopefully we can keep it moving forward.

I love playing with him and he is a great man off the field. He is a training nut so he has forced me to train a little bit harder.
