The AFLW trade period is in full swing and Geelong were involved in two exchanges last week, which has seen their draft haul change significantly.

With two days left in the trade period, there is still time for the order to change ahead of the AFLW draft which will be held next Monday, the 16th of December.

As it currently stands the Cats will have two selections in the first round, adding pick 16 in a six-team trade last Friday to the pick nine they already held.

The six-club exchange also saw Geelong gain pick 37, while giving away picks 22, 27 and 45.

The other trade the Cats were involved in happened just after the trade period opened, which saw Darcy Moloney head to Sydney after five seasons with Geelong.

In exchange the club received pick 22, a selection that was then moved on to help the Cats secure another first round pick.

With the trades completed, Geelong now hold two first round picks heading into the AFLW draft next Monday.
