Neale on pre-season training

It has been really good, pretty tough and some big days as you would expect in the preseason.

Everyone has come back really good, everyone is really healthy, fit and firing.

We have a short turnaround which is a bit different for most of us, but we are keen to get stuck into things.

Neale on his goals for 2025

I got some good exposure last year, both continuity throughout the season but also playing my first finals campaign which was really exciting.

I am hoping to take some of that experience into this year, hopefully put together a full season which is the main aim.

I am looking forward to playing a bit more, then building on what I have put in the bank over the past few years.

Taking what I can from the guys around me, then making it my own and playing a bit more of a role.

We asked the team if they could play doubles with any professional tennis player, who would it be?

Neale on who has impressed over the pre-season

All the young guys coming through have been really driving the standards.

Obviously we know what Ollie Dempsey can do, winning the Rising Star last year he has always been great.

Connor O'Sullivan has been really good, he has been one of my direct matchups at training.

Lawson has been great, he has come back in great nick and picking up from where he left off last year. The additions of Baz [Smith] and Jack [Martin] have been great as well.

Everyone has been really great, they are all fit and firing and I am looking forward to playing with the group that we have.

Neale on what he has learned from Jeremy Cameron

He has been unreal. He is a bit more of a natural player than some others, he pulls out some tricks that not many of us have seen before.

It is hard to learn those things from someone who is naturally gifted, but the way he sees the game and from a physical point of view we are quite similar in some ways.

I try to tap into that resource as much as I can, he has been great.

He is fun to learn off, he always has a smile on his face and is always trying to make the game fun and I am all for that.

As much as it is just a game, it is a game in a fun way so that is something that he does really well.
