This week the Geelong Football Club is recognising the 'Give Where You Live Foundation,' a driving force for social change across the Geelong region since 1954.
Representatives and volunteers from the Give Where You Live Foundation will have the opportunity to attend this weekend's match against Fremantle, sitting in the Dulux Community Bay.
The Dulux Community Bay has been established to provide local community groups, families and individuals the opportunity to attend a Geelong Cats home game.
During this weekend's match, the Give Where You Live Foundation will also be recognised at quarter time with an on-field introduction, along with a video explaining the fantastic work they do.
The Foundation’s work is dedicated to creating opportunities and removing barriers to ensure that every member of the community has the opportunity to not only survive, but thrive with a goal of building a fairer, more equitable community.
'Give Where You Live' prioritises and focuses on food security, homelessness assistance, inclusive employment and an inclusive economy, using every resource they have to undertake a wide range of activities that help create community change.
The Foundation has created a number of different change initiatives including Feed Geelong, GROW, The Paddock and many more.
