As part of the celebrations, Geelong will have a number of exciting activations including a Ford premiership motorcade, a fan photo opportunity, while the VFL Cats will also be in action as a curtain raiser at GMHBA Stadium.

Geelong and Ford 100 Year Commemorative Guernsey

As announced last week, Geelong will wear a specially designed guernsey in round four which recognises the century-long partnership dating back to 1925.

The guernsey will include the Ford colour blue on the sleeves and nape, a replica of the side stripe on a XY GT 1971 across the front, integration of '100 years of Ford' within the guernsey and the Cat within the logo will face forward, representing the future of the partnership while also acknowledging how far both organisations have come. This will be a first for the Geelong Cats Players Shield.

Purchase your own guernsey today at The Cats Shop.

Premiership Motorcade

Be in your seats by 7.00pm.

Geelong's motorcade on Friday night will recognise the 10 premierships the club has won during their 100 year partnership with Ford.

Headlining the celebration will be recently retired duo, Tom Hawkins and Zach Tuohy who will carry the Cats most recent premiership cups (2011 and 2022) on a lap around GMHBA Stadium. This will also be an opportunity for Geelong fans to show their appreciation for the two club champions, after they both announced their retirement at the end of last year.
