Scott on the early takeaways from Easter Monday
It was obviously a really tough game, lots of momentum shifts and it could have gone either way.
It is satisfying, it is early in the season so it still a bit hard to get a sense for where we are at relative to the rest.
I think it would be reasonable to suggest that they are a pretty good team, so from that context we are really pleased.
Scott on a tense last 10 minutes
We thought they were chasing the game, they got some good looks and we thought we made some fundamental errors that gave them a bit of a chance.
They have some players that are obviously dangerous, a couple of them got shots so we are not sitting here thinking it was perfect.
The age and experience profile of the two teams is very similar, I think both teams look at the game and think they will be a better product in six months time or two years time.
Partly because of that, you see some inexperience related errors but certainly not a lack of effort. I thought both teams were relatively sharp in the last 10 minutes considering.
Scott on the centre clearance battle
It is one of the best parts of the game at the moment for viewers, if you don't like the 6-6-6 rule then you are not watching it closely enough.
There are some things you can do to try and mitigate the opposition's centre bounce dominance, but it comes with a lot of risk. Especially on the bigger grounds, you are coming from a long way outside the centre square. You are limited in terms of what you can do on the outside, so what happens on the inside becomes more important.
Overall I thought that part of the game ebbed and flowed as well, I thought we got some really good looks out of there.
There was a few that they got out of the front, a bit too penetrating for our liking but again, we didn't think it was diabolical and we weren't pulling our hair out.
Scott on Tyson Stengle's performance
He probably hasn't been at his absolute best, but we have thought in every game he has been dangerous.
There are a few little things, like a ball got kicked out to the wing in the last quarter in a one on two situation, it is a critical ball and his work rate to get over there and halve that contest was brilliant.
We see some of the stuff in and around goal that we like. When you lose one of the hardest running forwards in the game, it is almost impossible to replace that but you have to rely on others.
It is not the way that Tyson plays necessarily, but we thought he did adjust when Miers went out.
Scott on Shaun Mannagh's Display
I think he is going brilliantly well and he was really good today, but it is not new.
He has been a really good player for a long time, it is more than just the honeymoon period with my admiration for him.
We were so keen to get him back into the team, we might have held him back a little bit which is our practice generally.
We would like to think that it has meant that he has hit the ground running when he came back into the AFL team, but he was super tonight.
