In the midst of all the pressure and hype that comes with an Easter Monday blockbuster, it would be easy to forget that this was Shaun Mannagh's debut in the traditional Geelong and Hawthorn clash. 

Mannagh was simply phenomenal and did a little bit of everything, hitting the scoreboard with three goals including the sealer late in the final term, while also finishing with a game high nine score involvements. 

His pressure was elite laying five tackles inside 50, also showing the ability to push into the midfield and winning four clearances in one of his best games to date.

Lawson Humphries

15 Disposals, 436 metres gained, seven intercept possessions

Another Easter Monday debutant who impressed in an emphatic way, Lawson Humphries' composure under pressure had an enormous impact in Geelong's big win over the Hawks. 

The dashing half back picked off a game high seven intercept possessions, able to hit targets on his way out going at 87% disposal efficiency for the match. 

Humphries impact stretched beyond the stat sheet on Monday, often getting an important touch or knock on across half back to thwart numerous Hawthorn attacks.

Tyson Stengle

17 Disposals, Three Goal Assists, Seven Score Involvements

While it is not his name that will show up in the scoring column, Tyson Stengle had a profound influence forward of the ball with his ability to set up teammates on Monday afternoon. 

Stengle accumulated a season high 17 disposals, dishing off three direct goal assists and recording seven score involvements to create plenty of headaches for the Hawthorn defensive unit. 

Often able to use the expanses of the MCG to create space for himself and others, Stengle's instrumental performance was critical in the Cats big win.

Tom Atkins

24 Disposals, Nine Tackles, Seven Clearances, Eight Score Involvements

Atkins continued his brilliant start to the year with another sensational performance against the Hawks, continually throwing himself into contested situations and winning key contests through the middle. 

Following on from a match winning display against Adelaide, Atkins accumulated another 24 disposals on Monday and seven clearances, while also laying nine tackles to cap off a terrific afternoon. 

What was perhaps most impressive was ability to push forward and have an impact, finishing with eight score involvements.
