TOM Hawkins has withdrawn from the Cats' team to play Gold Coast at Simonds Stadium on Sunday due to family reasons.

Hawkins has been replaced by fellow key forward Josh Walker, who comes into the side having kicked 14 goals in three VFL practice matches.

Nakia Cockatoo has been named as Geelong's sub for the second week in a row.
