Bundy has more to show
Allen Christensen had a standout game on Saturday night and he's looking forward to lifting his game even more
Allen Christensen’s game went up another gear on Saturday night having missed the majority of the season with a troubled back.
Rediscovering last year’s fierce form, the young midfielder led the way with a game high of 29 disposals, along with five clearances, eight inside-50s and one goal.
With five games in and four rounds to go, Christensen says he is starting to find his momentum in the middle, but there’s still a lot more he wants to bring to the stage.
“I’m starting to be able to run out games,” Christensen told Cats TV.
“I think I’ve been starting games pretty well but then fading out. Tonight was probably the first game that I finished off.
“I still think I’m a couple of weeks away from finding that touch and I missed a couple of easy goals tonight, that’s something I’ve still got to improve on."
And being the tenacious Cat he is, Christensen says he won’t be content until he clears all the blemishes from his game, especially with finals just around the corner.
“I’m going to be hard on myself because I want perfection… that’s what everyone wants for me and from the team,” Christensen said.
