As a part of the 2019 AFL Community Camps program, the Geelong Cats visited schools, community groups and sporting clubs within their Next Generation Academy (NGA) zone this week.

The Community Camps consisted of junior football clinics, Q and A's with AFL and AFLW players, leadership and health lessons. 

Geelong Cats General Manager of Community Sarah Albon said that these camps play a large role in building healthier communities.

“We have the opportunity to foster positive change in a community that has given so much to the Cats, our annual AFL Community Camps is a great way to do that," said Albon.

“Each year our players look forward to getting out into the community, meeting Cats fans and putting smiles on faces.”

The AFL Community Camps began in 2003 and have reached over one million students through school visits since the program’s inception.
