There's no doubt the Geelong players enjoyed their time off.

But we noticed that the mighty Cats enjoyed another benefit from not playing.

The team moved up one spot on the ladder, without playing a game!

Geelong went into round 15 in third place on the ladder, but the Sydney Swans' last-gasp loss to the Western Bulldogs saw them drop from second to fourth.

The Cats moved up to second, while Greater Western Sydney, which also had a bye, moved up to third.

Happy days!

But it's now a case of back to business for the Cats.

And what a challenge lies ahead of them, with the Swans coming to Geelong on Friday night for a clash that is a true blockbuster.

It shapes as a good old fashioned eight-point game, and we can't wait for it.

Now we want to hear from you.

What are you most looking forward to seeing on Friday night?
