Our 2018 has commenced and we look forward to delivering programs reaching almost 50,000 people. We could not do this without the generous support of our partners, sponsors and philanthropic donors.

Country Day
For almost 20 years the Geelong Cats have been heading down to the south west of Victoria as part of our Country Day program.
On Tuesday 6 February, our players and staff visited 28 schools, hospital and conducted a super clinic. Our AFL and VFLW players facilitated an All Girls Come n Try footy clinic in Colac.
February Ward Walk
For over 10 years the Cats have made regular visits to our local hospital visiting the Kids Ward as well as the Andrew Love Cancer Centre. This week Tom Hawkins, Jed Bews, Scott Selwood visited the Barwon Health University Hospital
“Conducting Ward Walks gives players perspective in life as to what is important, we get to see how something as simple as seeing a player can light up a person’s day. It is also a great opportunity to see the amazing work the nurses, doctors and surgeons do to help out the people of in our community”.

Cats in the Community Programs - Up & Running in 2018
Two of the Geelong Cats flagship programs Healthy Heroes and BioCATS kicked off this week. Healthy Heroes will be presented to 6900 students and BioCATS will reach 2400 students.
Our 2018 Healthy Cats Recipe Book will be issued to 5,000 Hawkins Heroes members, as well as all Healthy Heroes participants. Our players have shared their favourite healthy recipes, have a look online here.
