In 1937 and 2007, the Geelong Cats celebrated premierships with both the senior and reserve teams taking home the flag in those years.
The Geelong Cats History Society will celebrate these momentous occasions at our mid-year event on Thursday, 29 June from 3-5pm in the Deakin Cats Community Centre, Simonds Stadium. Special guest and past player, Alex Mathieson and his brother Don, who attended the 1937 match, will be in attendance, as well as triple premiership player David Wojcinski.
This is a FREE event for all friends of the History Society and guests are most welcome. For anyone interested in attending, please RSVP by 20 June to salbon@geelongcats.com.au.
The Geelong Cats History Society is an initiative of the Honouring the Past Management Committee.
