What a win that was on Easter Monday.
Some wonky kicking for goal early on had the Cats fans on edge, but 11 goals straight in the final quarter was an amazing way to finish.
How sweet it is to have the mighty Cats on top of the ladder after four rounds.
And what a surprise to see our great rival, Hawthorn, on the bottom of the ladder.
When you look back at the second half of last season, the Cats have now won 12 of their past 13 games, with the one abberation being the extremely disappointing preliminary final loss to the Sydney Swans.
The way the players and coaches have picked themselves up from that defeat and steeled themselves for another tilt at the premiership has been very impressive.
The good news is we still have nine big home games to come - two at the MCG and seven at Simonds Stadium - so we hope to see plenty of you in the stands at those games as the boys fight to stay at the top of the ladder.
There are some great ticketing offers coming soon for our round six home game against Collingwood at the MCG, and there are plenty of great membership options available as we try and reach our goal of 57,000 members in 2017.
Looking to how the on-field action might pan out in the coming months, we at Cats Media can't help but ponder what it might hold.
Sure, this campaign is only four rounds in, and the Cats haven't exactly played the best teams in the competition, but the signs are very promising.
Which brings us to our question of the week ...
