Mark Blicavs has heaped praise on Zach Tuohy and Zach Guthrie after both were standout performers in Geelong's first JLT Community Series match against Hawthorn in Launceston.
Guthrie showed great courage and skill off the half-back line, which didn't surprise Blicavs one bit.
"Obviously being family friends and growing up with them, I've known Cam since before Zach was born," Blicavs said during a press conference held during the Cats' Australia Post Community Camp.
"It's pretty surreal playing with him now.
"But as a kid he was always just tough at the ball, loved wrestling his brothers.
"His weight, or lack of at the moment, isn't a factor at all. He's got a bit of grunt.
"It was an impressive first game, so I think there's going to be a lot more of him to come."
Blicavs was also very impressed with Tuohy.
"I've played against Zach for the last couple of years and he's been awesome off the half-back line," he said.
"He's so fast and has great skills, so I knew he could do it.
"To do it for his first game, he looked so comfortable out there, he's going to be a big factor this year.
"We're rapt we've got him."
