Geelong midfielder Josh Caddy will be sidelined for 6-8 weeks after scans revealed he had suffered a medial ligament injury during the Cats win over the Western Bulldogs.
The injury will not require surgery and Caddy is expected to return later in the season.
Caddy has played all 13 games this season, averaging 21 possessions per game.
Cats physio Mark Young will provide a further update on Caddy and updates on a number of other players in the round 14 episode of nib Medical Room, which will be published on Wednesday afternoon.
