Two weeks, two shock losses. It's been a disappointing fortnight for the mighty Cats.
Before we delve into what's going wrong, here are a couple of positives.
* We're still in the top four on the ladder (in fact, we're third)
* Our win-loss record (7-3) remains pretty impressive
* We still have five games to play at our Simonds Stadium fortress, starting this coming Saturday against Steve Johnson and his Greater Western Sydney Giants
But we can't ignore the reality of the flat spot we've hit in the past couple of weeks.
* Having kept our opposition under 100 points in each of the first eight rounds, we have conceded more than 100 points in each of our past two games. In fact, we have conceded the same score - 16.8 (104) - in each of our past two matches.
* Our goalkicking remains wonky
* Players are getting away from us in the midfield (Collingwood's Steele Sidebottom in round eight, then Carlton's Bryce Gibbs on Sunday)
