The final result was a narrow loss, but there was plenty to like about the Cats' performance against Fremantle at Domain Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
Patrick Dangerfield gave us another taste of his extraordinary talent by racking up 30 touches, two goals and 112 AFL Fantasy points, while Mark Blicavs used his great running capacity to overcome the heat and make a very solid contribution, which included 12 tackles.

Cameron Guthrie (18 disposals and a goal) and Steven Motlop (19 disposals and five tackles) were other key contributors in what was an encouraging team performance.
That wraps up the NAB Challenge as far as the Cats are concerned, although Joel Selwood and Daniel Menzel are among the star players set to line up in Friday night's VFL practice match against Richmond at Punt Road.

For most of the boys, their attention is already focussed on the round one blockbuster against Hawthorn that will be played on Easter Monday at the MCG.
