Darcy Lang’s dynamic performances in the recent match-simulation sessions have set him up to hit the ground running in the NAB Challenge.
The 20-year-old from Colac, who has played 21 AFL games, was an eye-catching contributor in the session held at Simonds Stadium on Wednesday.
He’s now focussing his attention on playing in a similar way against Collingwood on February 26.
“I've done every session [of the pre-season] so far,” Lang told CatsTV during an interview that forms part of the pre-season video series.
"I've done a lot of aerobic stuff, and in the last month we've been getting into the speed and that sort of stuff, so I'm feeling good."
Lang expects to play in the midfield and across half-forward against the Magpies.
“That’s what I’ve been doing a lot in the pre-season,” he said.
