Jimmy Bartel
The veteran was managed for the trip north but is expected to return for Saturday’s clash with Melbourne at Simonds Stadium.
Jed Bews
A quieter VFL game for Bews on the weekend (12 possessions and a goal) but the Cats know full well of his defensive and attacking capabilities if required.
Josh Caddy
Caddy was withdrawn on Friday with a calf complaint but the Cats are confident the midfielder-forward will be right to play this week.
Nakia Cockatoo
After returning from a knee injury in round 16, Cockatoo played five games straight before missing the round 21 clash with Richmond with knee soreness. That soreness also forced him out of the clash with Brisbane, but should he be declared fit his unique skill set will be called upon by the Cats against the Demons.
George Horlin-Smith
Horlin-Smith was the Cats travelling emergency against the Lions but may struggle to push his way into an already fully stocked midfield.
Daniel Menzel
Menzel has missed the last two clashes with groin soreness but the Cats will be desperate to get him around the goals as soon as he is fit to play.
