The VFL Cats will feature in three televised matches on Channel 7 after the network announced its next batch of games earlier today.
The VFL Cats’ round 6 match against Port Melbourne, round 9 clash with North Ballarat and round 14 match against Footscray will all be broadcast live from Simonds Stadium on Channel 7, the new host broadcaster of the Peter Jackson VFL.
There have been a number of other changes to the Cats VFL fixture including their round 8 clash with Essendon. The match will now kick off at 3.25pm at Etihad Stadium and will be a curtain raiser to the round 10 AFL Geelong v Essendon match.
The VFL Cats round 13 match against the Werribee Tigers will now be played at Avalon Airport Oval. This match was previously scheduled for Simonds Stadium but due to an unfit playing surface in round 1, the game between the two sides was moved to Geelong.
