Mitch Brown
Brown has been mentioned by Chris Scott as a possible tall forward option and his game on Saturday would have helped those chances. Finished with 15 touches, eight marks, four inside 50s and a goal as the lead up forward.
Jimmy Bartel
The Cats should be optimistic of Bartel’s return after he missed last week with a corked thigh. The Cats just play better with him in the side and his ability to play a variety of roles.
Steve Johnson
Johnson will be touch and go for this week but after his 34 disposal and three goal effort against the Hawks in round five, the Cats will be hopeful of his return.
Jordan Murdoch
Murdoch missed last week’s win with hip soreness. Murdoch’s season has been sensational with the medium forward booting 17 goals and averaging 13 disposals and three marks a game. If fit, he should return straight back into the line-up.
Josh Walker
Walker was the Cats main focal point on Saturday and he finished with three goals from seven marks. The Cats are still uncertain of the make up of the September forward line and Scott has mentioned Walker as a possible inclusion.
Brad Hartman
Hartman was far and away the Cats best player on Saturday, something he has continually done this year. The midfielder finished with 30 touches, 11 clearances, six inside 50s and seven tackles to give with his two goals. His form is peaking at the right time and will be in the mix for the Cats for the remainder of the season.
