Skipper hits the front
Joel Selwood's performance this season has put him on top of the leaderboard for the AFL Coaches Association Award.
Last Saturday night the Cats skipper once again took the most points for his efforts during Geelong’s 11-point win over the Pies at the MCG.
Selwood pushed his way to the top of the stat's sheet with 30 touches, 8 clearances and 11 tackles during the Cats’ third win for the season.
Mitch Duncan also delivered a strong performance against the Pies and equaled his skipper’s disposal count of 30 touches.
Selwood now leads the AFL Coaches Association Award vote count with a total of 24 points, followed by former teammate Gary Ablett on 20.
