(Geelong's first ever match at Kardinia Park in round 2 1941 saw them defeat the Saints - 13.9-87 vs 11.19-85.) St Kilda will also equal Sydney/Sth Melbourne's record for the most matches played against Geelong at Geelong - 101 each.
The Junction Oval was often not a happy hunting ground for Geelong. Their win percentage there of 41.4% ranks 9th from St Kilda's 12 opponents who played the Saint's there.
