Home Ground Advantage presented by Carlton Draught is the first of its kind in Australian sport. The panel show, hosted by Channel 7 presenter Nathan Templeton, will be accessible to fans worldwide via the Cats website, mobile app and also live on the big screen at Simonds Stadium. This Sunday’s clash between the Cats and St Kilda will be the first of four episodes to air in 2014 with episodes prior to the Cats remaining Simonds Stadium clashes with the Western Bulldogs, Fremantle and Brisbane to follow.
Kicking off one hour before the match and running for 30 minutes, Home Ground Advantage presented by Carlton Draughtwill see the panel comprising of Templeton, Cats forward Daniel Menzel and AFL Media’s Adam McNicol analyse all elements of the upcoming clash as well as an exclusive interview with Cats senior coach Chris Scott following the pre-match team meeting.
Filmed in front of a live audience of Cats members in the Fred Flanagan room, the show will enable fans access and insight prior to a game like never before.
Geelong Cats chief-executive Brian Cook says the initiative will offer fans coming to Simonds Stadium as well as the hundreds of thousands both in Australia and internationally a high quality and in-depth pre-game discussion.
“Home Ground Advantage presented by Carlton Draught is an exciting step for us in terms of the level of content we provide our supporters,” Cook said.
“It is important as a club that we not only give our supporters a reason to come early to home games but also give them something that will enhance their experience at the game.”

Home Ground Advantage presented by Carlton Draught will air from 12:10pm this Sunday, concluding at 12:40pm ahead of the game against the Saints.
