Cats TV caught up with Chris Scott for Tweet the Coach, where he was asked if Nathan Vardy’s return would have a negative impact on Mark Blicavs’ current senior role.

As long as Vardy’s body holds up, Scott is very confident that he will make Geelong’s best 22 along with Hamish McIntosh, however, he also agrees Blicavs deserves his place and hopes to keep him listed.

“The basic philosophy with our whole list really, especially with our ruckmen, is to view them as a group and try to share the load amongst them.”

“I can see the possibility that at some point we could play two genuine ruckmen and Mark Blicavs.”

Scott also discusses training under the lights, his favourite sport besides AFL, and the reason behind George Horlin-Smith’s sub placement against Richmond.
