Nakia Cockatoo and Zach Guthrie have been named to line up for the Bendigo Bank Cats when they travel to Avalon Airport Oval to play Williamstown on Sunday at 11.40am.
In a battle between the third and sixth placed teams, this match will provide the ‘Bankers’ with an opportunity to assess where they are at against a quality side with only two rounds remaining in the home and away season.
They will enter the match full of confidence after their emphatic 102-point win against North Melbourne at GMHBA Stadium last weekend.
Cockatoo is set to start in an engine room packed full of talent, while Guthrie has been named on a half back flank.
The Cats has also been strengthened by the inclusion of Sam Menegola, who was omitted from the AFL team this week, as well as ruckman Zac Smith and onballer Scott Selwood.
