Cats TV met with Chris Scott for Tweet the Coach, a segment that allows you to ask the questions.

The first question for Scott was what influences are involved in his decision making when it comes to selecting a sub, and why was Taylor Hunt, who is in top condition, chosen to take the role last week?

Scott doesn’t believe it’s an insult to be positioned as the sub, in fact he describes it as the opposite. He is looking for a fast and dominating player that will have a serious impact on the game.

“It is probably easier to talk about the things that don’t dictate the way we pick the sub, it is almost never the 22nd player picked, and the opportunity to bring on a player with good speed who can impact the game is certainly part of that,” Scott said.

Chris Scott also discusses:
Cats clearance quality or quantity
Swapping Harry Taylor's position in defence with Nathan Vardy
Chris Scott’s career choice after coaching
And player attributes that he admires the most
