Johnson's outstanding performance during his 200th game on Saturday night earns him top votes
The 29-year-old veteran, Steve Johnson, took his 200th AFL game to the next level on Saturday night, where he once again demonstrated his elite class with an explosive performance at the MCG.
Johnson seemed invincible and the Tigers struggled to keep up, delivering 31 disposals, six inside 50s and 2 goals.
His classy contribution to Saturday night’s 44-point win didn’t go unnoticed, picking up 9 votes from senior coach, Chris Scott and Damien Hardwick, giving Johnson a total of 13 votes in the 2013 AFL Coaches Association vote count.
Allen Christensen and James Kelly followed with 5 votes each, Enright 4, Bartel 1 and Lonergan 1.
