Cats TV spoke to, Andrew Mackie and Scott Gullan, about the Cats upcoming game against Gold Coast on Argue the Toss.

Since the start of the season the Suns have shown great tenacity with every delivery, which threatened the Hawks last week.

Mackie admires the Suns improvement out on the ground and believes it is the younger players that the Cats will have to watch out for.

“They have improved remarkably and it was always going to happen with so much talent obviously led by Gary, but their young boys… have really led the way for the Suns,” Mackie said.

“They’ve probably got five blokes who are playing in those key roles and are really stepping up… and we’ve got to be on the look out for this weekend.”

Gullan also feels it is the younger players who have really taken a leap forward and are starting to play hard footy.

“I think like Mack said, Rory Thompson is this no name tall defender and he beat Buddy Franklin quite comfortably for three quarters,” Gullan explained.

“They’ve got Sam Day, they’ve got big bodies and kids who are third year in and know what they’re doing now.”
