Gary Ablett will not have a case to answer at the tribunal after the Match Review Officer agreed with the field umpire’s assessment of an incident with Kangaroo Sam Wright on Sunday.
Ablett had a free kick paid against him when he made high contact with Wright whilst attempting to body block his run on Sunday.
Despite some pundits thinking Ablett would face a similar fate or perhaps worse than last week’s fine for high contact with Bomber Dylan Shiel, the Michael Christian declared the force was below that to constitute a report.
Kangaroo Sam Durdin however has been suspended for a week for his bump on Gary Rohan.
The Kangaroos defender went to block Rohan as he attempted to tackle, but the two clashed heads in an incident that concussed the Cats forward.
The incident was graded by Christian as careless conduct with medium impact to the head, equating to a one-match ban.
An incident between Tom Stewart and Taylor Garner was looked at but no charges were laid.
