GEELONG midfielder Mitch Duncan has resumed running as he looks to return from a hamstring injury that has ruled him out of Sunday's trip to Perth.
Duncan was left out for the clash with West Coast, a second consecutive match missed after he was withdrawn ahead of the Cats' Easter Monday loss to Hawthorn.
Training away from the main group, Duncan completed straight line and resistance-band running under the watchful eye of the Cats' fitness team.
Triple premiership Cats and specialist ruck coach Brad Ottens worked with rucks Rhys Stanley and Esava Ratugolea ahead of Sunday's bout with Eagles big man Nic Naitanui.
Used in the ruck against the Hawks when Ratugolea missed with a hip complaint, Mark Blicavs didn't join with Ottens, training with the main group ahead of a return to defence.
Injured defender Lachie Henderson wasn't spotted on the track, despite coach Chris Scott saying he had "turned the corner" in his return from a knee injury.
