Geelong has made one change for their Semi Final clash against Collingwood at the Gabba on Saturday night.

Sam Simpson has been recalled to the team and will play his first AFL game since Round 12.

The 22-year-old has made six senior appearances this season, which includes a career-high 27 disposal performance against Brisbane in Round 6. Simpson is rated elite for handballs, ground ball gets, stoppage clearances and intercept possessions in 2020.

He replaces Tom Atkins who has been omitted.

Atkins is one of four emergencies alongside Zach Guthrie, Esava Ratugolea and Brad Close.

Saturday night's game will be televised on Channel Seven with the first bounce at 7.40pm AEDT.
