Geelong will assess midfielder Mitch Duncan through out the week to determine whether he has overcome a concussion and will be available to take on West Coast.

Speaking on nib medical room, Cats physio Mike Snelling spelled out the steps Duncan would need to complete to be fit for action.

“He’s pulled up very well actually.” Snelling said.

“He obviously has to go through a graduated return to exercise program through the week, he’s run today and we’ll have to see how he pulls up tomorrow to make sure he doesn’t have any symptoms or a headache or anything like that.”

“And then on Thursday we’ll expect him to train and we’ll also put him through some cognitive testing on the computer and make sure everything is back functioning  right.”
