Name: Georgia Clarke
Nickname: Mostly GC or Clarkey
Favourite footy memory: Probably my debut game, felt awesome to pull the hoops on. Although it was an away game and there were predominantly Bulldogs supporters there, it was still so cool. When I kicked my first goal my family went berserk and I could hear them from the ground - might not have been able to hear them if we played at home, haha.
Greatest non-football achievement: When I was 15 I went to Vancouver, Canada and competed in a couple of athletics meets and did a bit of shot put and discus.
Best advice you’ve been given (on or off the field): I listen to Dylan Buckley’s “Dyl and Friends” podcast and I love his saying “Be yourself because everyone else is taken”. Although it wasn’t directly said to me, I still think it’s very good advice which I like to keep in mind.
Teammate you’d like to room with on away trips: Liv (Purcell) – lots of good chats.
Teammate you’d least like to room with on away trips: G Rankin – because she doesn’t want to room with me.
Funniest teammate: Can always rely on Becky Webster for a laugh.
Funniest thing you’ve seen on the footy field: Wasn’t funny at the time but when I look back at the video, when I got decked by Perko (then-Crows player Sarah Perkins) in my first year when we played Adelaide, that was pretty funny.
Position other than your own you wish you could play: Midfield
Hidden talent/party trick: Can touch my tongue to my nose.
Player from another AFLW team you’d most like to have at the Cats: Darcy Vescio.
Favourite player from another sport: Sam Kerr or Ellyse Perry.
If you weren’t playing footy, what sport would you like to play: Probably basketball, I’m obsessed with the game.
Favourite meal the night before a game: Any type of pasta. Gnocchi is definitely the favourite.
Favourite movie: Any Avengers movie
Favourite TV series: Stranger Things.
Favourite singer/band: Ed Sheeran
Dream holiday destination: I’ve been to Canada during the summertime, I’d love to go back there in the winter when the mountains are full of snow.
One thing you’d like people to know about you: I have a pet lamb back home named Barney.
